A flash of light distracted him. "Athena." Ares nodded to his sister standing beside him.
"Ares," she returned the greeting, giving him a slightly curious look. "I'd thought that you would be the first of us down here to gloat over Zeus' death."
"I was busy." Ares shrugged. "Besides, it's not like 'dear old dad' is going anywhere." He looked around, smirking in appreciation. "You know, Hades and I have had our differences, but I gotta admit, he comes up with the best punishments."
Athena nodded in agreement. "He had incentive this time. Hades has suffered much because of Zeus."
Just then Poseidon finally walked away and it was Ares' turn. "How's it going, Dad?" He grinned at the ex-god standing behind the counter.
Zeus visibly clenched his teeth before replying, "Welcome to
McTartarus.
May I take your order?"
